  3. mmmm pink!

is that a safety?! on a Sig?

i don't know if I could justify a second Sig, so I guess it's just as well that I'm broke

  4. Crayon - I dunno about this one because it's just a random Googled picture, but I played with one just like it at the gun shop and it had no safety.

  5. I have been trying all day to come up with something clever to say about Mary Kay Commandos, and I have failed.

  6. That lever on the side is a decocking lever. I think the safety on a Sig is located on the left side of the grip, so you can actuate it with your right thumb (most firearms are right-hand biased)

  7. It's a SIG Mosquito: http://www.sigsauer.com/Products/ShowCatalogProductDetails.aspx?categoryid=30&productid=242

The lever you can see on the right hand side of the slide is the right hand side of the ambidextrous safety lever. The decocking lever is on the left hand side of the gun right above the magazine release button, in front of the left hand side of the ambidextrous safety lever. Clear as mud?

  8. Ugh. Safeties do not belong on slides. Safeties belong on frames. Frames that aren't part of P-series SIGs or pistols that look like P-series SIGs.

I am the Twisty Faster of slide-mounted safeties.

  10. Ugly!

All pink can be good, but half pink half black? Urgh.
